Design

NT-MDT Service & Logistics has a dedicated team of mechanical and graphic design engineers, which between them have numerous years experience in various high tech industries.
We perform full Design For Manufacture (DFM) studies on all designs and by using the latest in 3D software it is possible to simulate real world requirements for the products and test all designs within the virtual environment, thereby reducing the associated costs and time delays that are normally associated with primary stage prototyping, this is prior to producing any functional prototypes.
Our graphic design engineers have vast experience in the creation of marketing material and display graphics for prestigious worldwide exhibitions.

Production

We provide a full turn key solution by using the latest in manufacturing processes and finishing technologies on a low volume, high quality basis.
We perform a full Design For Manufacture (DFM) study on all of our production orders to increase cost reduction and manufacturability.
There is a strong focus on continuously auditing existing suppliers along with sourcing new suppliers in order to advance the quality of components and also maintain a rapid turnaround of orders. 

Mechanical production

NT-MDT S&L carried out extensive research and development into the mechanical sub-contractor market and subsequently selected a limited number of specialist precision engineering companies. These companies are leaders in their fields, and who specialize in such sectors as medical, scientific and aerospace. These companies have vast experience with specialist materials such as titanium, Inconel, medical grade stainless steels and plastics, to name but a few. All of these companies use the latest in CNC machine centres and provide full Coordinate-measuring machine (CMM) inspection records on all parts.
All our mechanical sub-contractors are accredited to all relevant ISO standards including ISO 9001, AS 9100 and ISO 13485. 

Electronic production

The electronics department organizes the production of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA). We use a select number of highly experienced Contract Electronic Manufacturers (CEM) who specialise in low volume, high quality PCBA’s for industries such as automotive, medical and aerospace. Our range of CEM’s offer a low cost, highly skilled and flexible manufacturing service.
Our CEM’s have 0402 to uBGA placement capabilities and fast prototype turnaround. All of our CEM’s work to IPC-A-610 class 3 standards and are ISO 9001:2000 quality assured.
